About the Tour
Your journey begins alongside the powerful Colorado River. Here, you can visit the Grandstaff Canyon Trail, do a little bouldering at the Big Bend Bouldering Area, or just cruise along and enjoy the towering formations of red rock!
Continuing on, you’ll hear about the history of films in this region and get the chance to visit the Moab Museum of Film and Western Heritage. If that’s not enough for you, you can also take a detour to Hauer Ranch, where several iconic movies were filmed!
After that, stop at the imposing Parriott Mesa for some great views. Then drive through the picturesque Castle Valley and marvel at the unique formations of Castleton Tower.
After a bit of Spanish history, it’s time to turn back the clock to the Triassic as you head to Bull Canyon Overlook, featuring real life dinosaur tracks left behind millions of years ago!
Next, you’ll dive into the true stories of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Hear tales of Laura Bullion, the Thorny Rose. Find out how Cassidy became the legendary bandit we know him as today. And uncover a surprising plot twist about his story you’ve probably never heard before!
