Giant sequoias are the tallest trees in the world, and the Giant Forest has some of the most impressive ones in the park. Make sure to stop at General Sherman, the largest tree in the world by volume!

Moro Rock

Standing just above the Giant Forest, this massive granite dome has some of the park’s best views – assuming you can climb the 400-step stairs to get to the top.

Mineral King

Mineral King is a valley located in the heart of Sequoia National Park. It’s the only car-accessible backcountry in the park and is well worth a visit. Mineral King is only open in the summer, however, so make sure you’re visiting at the right time if you want to explore it.

The Tunnel Log

This fallen sequoia is the only tree in the park you can drive through, making it the perfect photo opportunity if you’re looking for mementos to post on social media.

Crystal Cave

This attraction is also only open in the summer and costs a little money, but it’s well worth the cost of a ticket to see the gorgeous marble cave.

Crescent Meadow Loop

If you’re getting a little tired of all the giant trees, this hiking trail takes you through an idyllic meadow hidden among the sequoias.

Grizzly Falls

Located in nearby Kings Canyon National Park, Grizzly Falls is a 75-foot waterfall only a short hike off the Kings Canyon Scenic Byway.
