Most of the beaches you’ll see on an Aruba tour are going to be great for swimming since the island is so well-known for its calm, clear water and mild temperatures. The weather in Aruba stays between 75 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit year-round, so the water is always comfortably warm, perfect for swimming. Here are a few of the best beaches in Aruba for swimmers:
Eagle Beach: Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Eagle Beach is a swimmer’s paradise. The water there is calm and warm, and the gentle slope of the beach itself is ideal for swimming. Due to its location on the western half of the island, the currents at Eagle Beach are very gentle and safe.
Baby Beach: Protected from choppy currents by natural rock formations, Baby Beach is located among the rocks at the southeast tip of Aruba. The water there is calm and shallow, making it perfect for families with young children, and the scenery is a little more rugged than the western beaches.
Palm Beach: Another beach on the western side of the island, Palm Beach is the most popular shore in Aruba. It’s a safe and comfortable place for families to swim, with cordoned-off swimming areas and plenty of lifeguards on duty. As an added bonus, the beach is right next to Aruba’s best shopping district.
Arashi Beach: Up on the northern coast, Arashi Beach features some of the clearest water in Aruba. The water at Arashi is also teeming with undersea life, making it one of the most popular spots in the Caribbean for snorkeling.
