It only takes about an hour and a half to walk the Strip if you go straight from Mandalay Bay to the Sahara, but you should leave plenty of time to stop and sightsee on your Las Vegas Strip walking tour. In fact, we’d recommend spending a full two days at the Strip if you can swing it since it’s so dense with attractions. Beyond the fabulous hotels and casinos, the Strip is jam-packed with things to do and see, so prepare to stop frequently.
While most people are drawn to Vegas for the drinking, gambling, and live shows, there’s also plenty more to do during the day. If you’re looking for an experience that will get your blood pumping, check out the STRAT, which features its own amusement park with roller coasters and more, or the more family-friendly Adventure dome at Circus Circus. The Strip is also known for some high-profile escape rooms, including the challenging PanIQ at the Venetian Resort and the Escape Game at Caesars Palace.
If you’d rather relax and enjoy a museum, make sure you don’t miss Madame Tussaud’s Vegas, featuring wax figures of superstars like Elvis Presley and Beyonce, plus a selection of Marvel superheroes. Some other popular museums include the art galleries at the Bellagio and the Neon Museum, dedicated to neon sign artwork.
At the southern end of the Strip is Mandalay Bay, a relaxing beach with its own Shark Reef Aquarium. The aquarium features an underwater shipwreck and over 2,000 animals, including sharks, stingrays, sea turtles, and a Komodo dragon. The Mandalay Bay Hotel also features an expansive shopping center.
