About the Tour
Your Dublin adventure starts at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, a marvel of Gothic architecture. From there, you’ll explore the peaceful St. Patrick’s Park beside the cathedral and learn about who exactly Saint Patrick really was.. A short walk brings you to Dublin Castle, the city’s historic seat of power, where you’ll hear about the English rule over Ireland.
Next, admire the architecture of City Hall before paying a visit to a legendary Dublin figure: Molly Malone, immortalized in bronze. Then, discover Ireland’s whiskey-making heritage at the Irish Whiskey Museum, right across from the historic parliament building!
Cross O’Connell Bridge next and stop by the iconic O’Connell Monument, where you’ll learn more about this Irish freedom fighter. Then stroll down O’Connell Street, one of the most famous streets in the whole city. Here, you’ll see the General Post Office, used as a headquarters by the rebels who organized the 1916 Easter Rising.
