“You’ve seen the movies.
This time, you’re driving through the credits.”
Out here in the hills above Los Angeles, fame has a street address. Behind tall hedges and winding driveways, some of the most recognizable names on the planet are making coffee, walking their dogs, or scrolling their phones just like anyone else… only with much better views. From old-school legends to chart-topping, franchise-leading, award-collecting stars, this neighborhood map reads like a gossip magazine index.
This Self-Guided Hollywood Celebrity & Star Homes Driving Tour turns that world into a relaxed drive instead of a rushed bus loop. You cruise through Beverly Hills, Bel Air, the Hollywood Hills, the Sunset Strip, and Rodeo Drive at your own pace while the audio points out famous homes, shares where certain stars live or lived, and fills in fun stories you will not get from just staring at a gate. No microphone-toting guide, no strict schedule, just your car, your route, and Hollywood stories playing in your speakers.
Along the way, you pass the kind of mansion that makes “house goals” feel very small, including the staggering estate of Jay Z and Beyoncé. You hear why some people call one superstar the “nicest guy in Hollywood,” learn about long-running feuds and red-carpet friendships, and catch the backstories behind blockbuster actors, chart-topping musicians, and reality TV regulars. The drive winds past palm-lined streets, hillside hideaways, and iconic stretches of the Sunset Strip before finishing with a visit near the Hollywood Sign, where the whole city spreads out below like one giant movie set.
Just so you know : Gawking is encouraged, trespassing is not. Many homes are partly hidden by gates and greenery, so the real treat is the stories, the neighborhoods, and that moment you look around and realize you are driving through the backdrop of half the pop culture you have ever watched.
Bonus Tour: It also includes the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Tour FAQs
For those who don’t like the idea of being crammed onto a tour bus with a bunch of strangers, there are self-guided tours of Hollywood! These allow you to explore with your own car or rental with total flexibility and without the hassle of a big tour group.
Most of Hollywood’s celebrities live in Bel Air, Beverly Hills, or Hollywood Hills. These neighborhoods are just packed to the gills with big names and bigger mansions!
Hollywood is absolutely worth visiting! Not only will you get to see where all your favorite movie and music stars live—you’ll also be surrounded by lively, sunny Los Angeles, where you’ll never run out of things to do.
While a few celebrity homes are tucked away on private roads, you can definitely drive by most of them. It’s one of the reasons tours of Hollywood are so popular!
You can see celebrity homes pretty much anywhere in Hollywood Hills, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, and the surrounding neighborhoods. These areas are packed with movie stars, musical sensations, and more.
When booking a celebrity home tour, you have two options: Book a timed tour aboard a bus, or buy a flexible self-guided tour. If you don’t mind a crowd and touring on someone else’s schedule, the bus is fine. But if you prefer to explore at your own pace and in your own vehicle, the self-guided tour is the way to go!
It’s difficult to determine the richest street in Hollywood, as net worths in showbiz are constantly changing, but Rodeo Drive and Beverly Park Circle are always vying for the top spot.
The Hollywood Celebrity Star Homes tour runs about three hours if you decide to visit every home along the way. However, you can always opt to skip to just the homes you really want to see.
While the best places to visit will, of course, depend on your personal favorite celebs, there are a few houses you just won’t want to miss, like Jay-Z and Beyonce’s extravagant mansion and Al Pacino’s Beverly Hills home (where he’s known to wave to visitors!)
When visiting Hollywood, you’ll want to make sure you see the homes of your own favorite movie and music stars. Before going, check to see which of your favorite celebs live there, then prioritize those spots!
You can certainly drive through Hollywood Hills! A few parts of the road are fairly narrow and winding, but the streets are open to anyone (with a few exceptions, which are clearly marked)
