Pleasantly Surprised

I was asked to drive some visitors around Cape Ann – – where I live – – and show them the sites. But they wanted to know all the interesting historical details that I did not necessarily know. I found this app mentioned on TripAdvisor; downloaded it and bought the Cape Ann self-guided tour. It was exactly what I needed. I used the audible version,  it played across my Bluetooth speaker as we drove around to the different sites, and gave us all those little historical tidbits that made them happy. Great idea and worked well.

Just right, and very informative! We really appreciated this app-based tour! It gave us the flexibility to take our time, stop or go as we wanted, and just be together. We stopped at the sites we were interested, and walked on when we weren’t. We chose to follow the Trail until we were tired and ended when we wanted. I have lived in the Boston area before, but some of the information was absolutely new and surprising! A great time was had by all!

Perfect Social Distancing Adventure Once we downloaded the tour and got started, things were easy. This was an amazing experience for adults and children. It’s best to expect to drive slow as the program uses GPS and will skip to the next audio portion if you drive fast. The tour was very engaging and comprehensive and guide has a pleasant voice. We spent 5 hours to complete the tour as we stopped at each Monument to take pictures. I would recommend this app and experience for someone who is new to Gettysburg!

An excellent audio tour We really enjoyed the driving tour. It was February when we did it, so there wasn’t a lot of traffic, and not a problem at all if we wanted to slow down or pull over for a bit. It’s how we started our visit to Newport and it gave us a good overview.

Make sure your phone is charged all the way We skipped some of the paved paths and started at the 40 Steps, walking to Bailey’s Beach. The views are spectacular! Bring sunblock, sneakers,water,and if you have little one’s a snack. Glad I bought this tour guide a week in advance. All the pro-tips helped in the guide helped, plus the guided walking audios were well timed and perfect. Wish the guide had the interiors of all the mansions since I skipped a few.

Better than the official one!?! Includes all the same stops as the official car tour, marked the same. But adds a number of stops that go beyond it. We came away feeling like we understood the course of a confusing three-day battle starting with Buford’s stand, whereas I think the official tour may only cover the later stages. Very helpful narration, nice photos. We had a great day with this. Money well spent.

A must-have for driving through Utah National Parks. Don’t leave home without this app. We were so impressed with the knowledge of the audio tour guide. We listened to the tours of Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce, and Zion. Each was so informative. It was like having an anthropologist, a geologist, and a historian right in the back seat of our car. We’ve used other audio tour apps and guides before but this one was truly the best. I actually felt sorry for tourists who were driving around these parks and did not have the advantage of this knowledge. We downloaded the tours before we had wi-fi. The GPS on the app was automatic and the “guide” just chirped in whenever we passed a sight. There was even extra information that we could read and extra audio content. We learned about plant life, rock formations, and early settlers to these regions as well as folklore on home some of the structures got their names. I will use this company again when we travel. We learned so much. It was well worth the money (and then some!)

I enjoyed the help getting through the park! My 14 year old son and I used it today to get around the park in 1 day and feel like we got a chance to get the most out of it with this help. It was easy for us to use to navigate through most of the part and it was nice supplemental information to get more out of time driving around since we did not have much time to do research. We did spend time at 4 of the stops doing some hiking, but nothing more than 2 miles at one stop. We did stop at a few observation points also and the visitor centers. We had looked into doing the Gondola ride in Palm springs ahead of time and note that has of April 5th, you have to plan a couple weeks in advance. It was so windy today, I it was probably not running anyway. We did enjoy stopping through Twentynine Palms and got a late lunch. We would have packed picnic lunch, but flew into area and did this park at last minute.

I used the tour in Zion & Bryce Nat’l parks. So informative, easy to download & Great Customer Service, The App was perfect especially during Covid. No need to hire a guide or get in a group tour. I can’t wait to use it again.

Educational and exciting tour We started at the heritage center and spent the whole afternoon driving through the landmarks. It was one of the most enjoyable tour experiences I ever had. The narrator has an immersive way of telling the stories, which makes you really pay attention to it. The way he described the Devil’s Den stop was so interesting that we ended up buying the Devil’s Den Walking Tour then, as he suggested. No regrets.

Road trip with mom Wanted to spend a few days with mom and get her out of the house. With Covid she had been home forever and hasn’t really gotten out. After getting vaccinated I wanted to do something with her do I booked an overnight stay in Provincetown. I figured we could spend one day driving down and stopping along the way wherever we wanted and spend the night in Ptown and make our way back home to Boston the next day. I found this tour and thought it would be perfect. It was! I’ve been on the Cape many times and this took us to a few new spots I’ve never been but also gave us history on the places we’ve been a few times and just never knew. Kept us entertained for the day. I really enjoyed it.

Audio tour Nice enhancement to a magical drive. The narrative and description of the scenery was accurate as we moved along the PCH.

simple and convenient great little app. gives you lots of information about many points along the journey that you would otherwise miss. for its price its a no brainer to be frank. such a great drive too.

Initially, we were so afraid of missing things off in the distance so we would try to “control” the tour haha, but realized very quickly that your tour would take us to all of the things we wanted to see. It was SO easy to follow and very well timed. We listened to the commentary and drove to the sites while it played. It was both interesting and enjoyable. I am so happy we utilized this for our guided tour.

Worthwhile tour This audio self guided tour is great. You can spend as much time as you want. You get a map to follow and the audio is informative and entertaining. Worth a stop. ) good food choices too )

Fun and Interesting Walking Tour We loved the Brooklyn Heights / DUMBO walking tour! The app was easy to download and manage, and the interactive map is was easy to follow and always showed exactly where we were on the tour. My favorite thing was that as you approached each stop the tour audio automatically started so we weren’t having to constantly look at the map to figure out when we supposed to start the audio and what we were supposed to be looking at. It was almost like having a real tour guide with you, but we were able to go at our own pace and stay as long as we wanted at each stop. We were also able to mute the audio if we wanted and just read the information instead. The guide gave all sorts of interesting information including history, fun facts, where current and historical famous people lived and even let you know which stops were good for taking a good social media pics. It was also super affordable! I highly recommend these tours and hope to do more of them in the future.

Using the self guide meant I could tailor the visit to my own timetable not a guide’s Listen to the whole guided tour before you arrive. Arrive as early as you can and wear trainers. The ground is uneven.

It was amazing!!!! So informative. I’ve been going to Gettysburg all my life and still learned new things on this trip with my daughter. The info on Battlefield Sallie was wonderful and my 10 year old loved that.

4 months ago Absolutely love this park Acadia as many trails and good driving access with vistas of Maine and of the ocean and inshore islands. There are several lakes and plenty of things to do. We were not scheduled to be in the area long so we decided to take an early morning drive on the loop road around the park. Luckily we came across this audio tour guide. The visitor’s center was not open yet so we just started our drive. We realizes that we needed a pass from the visitor’s center through the tour guide. Also the app guided us to drive the Loop Road, it is important to drive in a clockwise direction around the look. That road becomes one-way and you cannot complete a loop driving counter clockwise. A stop at the visitor’s center would have been very helpful to us but we just didn’t have time.

My wife and I came for our 25th wedding anniversary to visit the historical sites and temples of Thailand. I’ve always wanted to see them, and I’m so glad that we did the temple is amazing. Words and pictures cannot describe.

Perfect day trip experience Once we downloaded the app and got started, things were easy. It’s best to expect to drive slow as the program uses GPS and will skip to the next audio portion of you move to fast. Slow down, pause, and enjoy it! The audio has a pause feature for those moments when you want to get out of the car and explore. We really learned a great deal during the driving portion and we didn’t have to stop the tour during a flash storm that hit us.

App is a great guide There were so many local guides but they all needed huge negotiations. There was no way to telling if anyone was good or not. We downloaded this app and it was a pleasant surprise. We have used apps of this company in the past. it was nice. The palace is beautiful Buddha is huge … beyond imagination huge. A lot of gold everywhere. I am sure it is gold plating. the app guide had good stories, it walked us through each structure. An exhibition was going on. So, we had to go around a couple of things. The best part of that the app had pictures of what it was talking about. After a few stops, all Buddha looked the same. Having the picture in the app was very useful. Overall, very good.

Amazing piece of local history and monument of Jewish perseverance I had no initial idea of this place as our “tour guide” friends just happened to offer this trip. Well worth a visit! Just take a lot of sun lotion with you and a hat preferably. Be ready for some high altitude experience and remember to visit also the great water reserve and the North “terrace”. Also if you feel you are up to it you can run up and down, in and out via the Snake path!

The app worked really well for us. We were able to follow the freedom trail with all of the information you would get on a guided tour but at our own pace. We stopped at the public market. First time user. Well worth it! I really enjoy this tour and learned about sites and homes that would have otherwise been missed. The detail is good and allows you to learn more at your own pace. I saw the only con as the need to drive very slow and pull over often which may not always be easy. The highlight was learning about the “drunk monkey”. LOL. This was well done and I plan to use it in other tourist spots.

One of the most spectacular views in the USA Ok, for extravagance, mixed with natural beauty, this is it! THe homes are from the Great Gatsby with all of the regality and 19th century luxury you could ever imagine. But the cliff walk outdoors is so beautiful it does not seem real. The day we did the walk, there were SURFERs on boards and that was really exciting.

Loved it! We enjoyed being able to do the tour at our own pace. The app was very easy to follow directions and the information kept us engaged. It was great to see all the sights and it is very apparent that the grounds are well maintained. Definitely would recommend!

BEST TRIP EVER! my friends and I wanted to have a girls day but we weren’t sure what to do! That’s when we found this self guided tour. It was way better than we imagined. It was sunny and the weather was beautiful. None of us had ever taken Highway 1 before so it was nice to know what sights were coming up and where we needed to stop and look. We even saw whales!! One thing I would add, is a shipwreck located on the outskirts of cayucos before the town of Harmony. When the tide is low enough you can even go out to the boat. All in all it was a great trip and I would recommend it to anyone!

Good to use It worked perfectly. It told us where to go and gave good explanations, we were able to skip hiring a guide and go at our own pace. I recommend if you are with kids (as we were) because they liked managing the app and the gps.

What a gem! I downloaded this tour before leaving my home, just to make sure there were no issues. You can drive to any location in the tour, park and walk. But I chose to start at the beginning on Easton Beach, and walked up to the Tea Pavilion (approx. 1.5 m). It was amazing fun. I listened to some audio again and again and got a good sense of the past Newport life.

Great tour! A perfect tour during a pandemic and heat wave. Enjoyed hearing the history of the area, in the comfort of our conditioned car and discovered beautiful quiet beaches along the way. We stopped at several to enjoy the scenery and ocean breezes. Highly recommend!

Awesome Place Shatrunjay tirth is at a great height almost 3500 stairs to climb. But it is worth visiting. You feel like you have reached heavens. Only problem is doliwalas they irritated the most

Masada Hired a private car from Jerusalem for a day trip to Masada. The journey is around one and a half hours through stunning countryside partly alongside the Dead Sea. The cable car takes a few minutes to the top, although you can walk on well worn pathways which looked quite strenuous. The fortress is spectacular and we could only be in awe of the people who once lived there. The Roman ramp is clearly visible today, and the areas of the Roman encampments are clearly marked on the ground below. Every part of the fortress can be explored and it’s a great place to visit.
