Trail Ridge Road (U.S. 34 Inside RMNP) is a seasonal road that is closed to through traffic in the winter. Trail Ridge Road is closed on the east side of the park at Many Parks Curve and on the west side of the park at Colorado River Trailhead.
For details, call the Trail Ridge Road recorded status phone line at (970) 586-1222. Park staff will update the recorded line when/if the road status changes.
To travel from the east to the west sides of RMNP (and vice versa), park visitors should use alternate routes of travel around the park.
