  This intersection is one of the best photo spots in the whole city. You're bound to see folks snapping selfies here, and you'll probably want to do the same! With the Manhattan Bridge over the water, the Empire State Building in the distance, and the whole thing framed by beautiful brownstones, it doesn't get much more New York than this.

• Main St Park

  Main St Park is a riverside park which affords visitors unbeatable views of Manhattan's skyline. As you look out across the gleaming skyscrapers, you tour will identify the most significant ones for you.

• Pebble Beach: Coffee & Sugar War

  Pebble Beach offers more great views of the water and the skyline, as well as some surprising history. As you take in the views, you'll get a rundown of how the coffee industry sparked Succession-level business drama across the nation, all centered around the neighborhood of Brooklyn.

• Time Out

  The Time Out Market is housed in a historic former warehouse, but it has much more than history to offer. These days, it's a hip spot for pop-up eateries. If you've seen food from Brooklyn go viral, there's a good chance it came from here!

• Jane's Carousel

  This classic wooden carousel was built in 1922 for an amusement park in Youngstown, Ohio. It has been restored to its original working condition and is a wonderful stop for any youngsters.

• Arches of St Ann’s Warehouse

  These picture-perfect arches are Instagram-famous for a reason. If you're looking for a great photo spot to commemorate your visit to Brooklyn, this is the stop for you. The red brick and lush greenery contrast to make for some truly memorable snapshots.

• Grimaldi’s vs Juliana’s

  The dueling pizzerias of Grimaldi's and Juliana's have been at war for over a decade. Brooklynites will argue passionately about which one is best, but it really comes down to taste. Give them a try and see whose side you're on!

• Tammany Hall

  Tammany Hall was once a major political powerhouse in New York. It was also infamous for its associations with street gangs like the Dead Rabbits, which Martin Scorsese dramatized in his film Gangs of New York. From here, you'll also be able to see the Statue of Liberty in the distance!

• 142 Columbia Heights

  142 Columbia Heights is the former home of eccentric, famous author Norman Mailer. Mailer wrote some of his most well-known works here, and used to host lavish parties attended by all kinds of big-name celebrities.

• The Towers Hotel

  This Italian-style hotel has changed hands plenty of times over the years. At one time, it was the favorite spot of the Brooklyn Dodgers during the summer months. (That is, until they left the city for good!)

• Truman Capote's House

  The basement of 70 Willow Street is where renowned author Truman Capote once lived. While living here, Capote wrote his most famous and influential works: In Cold Blood and Breakfast at Tiffany's.

• St George Hotel

  Though it has now been broken up into a collection of separate apartments, the St George Hotel was once New York City's most prestigious hotel. It held the world’s largest banquet hall, the nation’s largest indoor salt water pool, and even its own subway station!

• Cadman Plaza Park

  Cadman Plaza is a pleasant green space named for Reverend Samuel Parkes Cadman. As you stroll through this peaceful space, you'll get to know Cadman and understand why he was important enough to name a park after.

• War Memorial

  The Brooklyn War Memorial features two 20-foot-tall statues, which were among the largest in the city when they were first sculpted. It honors those who fought and died during World War II. Your tour concludes here, just down the street from where it began.
